When Adnan started out his trek, he was definitely concerned about how his language skills and his lack of experience would impact him if he started a small business. Although he came across as very self-confident (almost arrogant), he has learned so much about himself on this journey and feels like he believes in himself a lot more than he did before. He’s also realised it’s okay to not have all the answers and that rushing ahead is often not the best approach. Sometimes you need to take the time to build your skills and knowledge before you can take the right action. This can also save you a lot of time in the long run! Adnan found it especially hard when his dad, Sharif, was so negative about his ideas. He also knows that it won’t always be a smooth trek ahead, but now with Sharif’s support and all the help he’s had from June, Tony, and Shirley, he’s feeling very optimistic about the future. He’s ready to see where his bee business can take him.
